Me?
Huh-uh. No way.
O, I might fret a bit from time to time. You know... be just a little unduly concerned about this or that but... not… worry.
Matthew 6:27 says, "Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?"
I KNOW that!
Hmmm! But DO I remember that it also says in Psalm 37:8b, "do not fret - it leads only to evil."
No - I didn't remember.
Doesn't it lead to evil because worrying, OR fretting, takes my focus off the 'Problem Solver' and onto the problem, thus absorbing my strength and energies? And then I plan my OWN strategies.
May I always, as I am tempted to 'fret' - look at my problem and THEN take it to the One with the answer. No need to worry or fret when He is given the situation.
Have YOU done much 'fretting' lately?
